The Pleasanton City Council voted unanimously to approve a resolution supporting the Tri-Valley Cities Housing and Policy Framework at its March 5 meeting.

The resolution was developed at a recent gathering of mayors and councilmembers from Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, San Ramon and Danville addressing a sub-regional approach to housing, and particularly the legislation coming out of Sacramento.

The resolutions represent the first step in a collective effort to work together on housing solutions for the Tri-Valley region, while still recognizing each community’s individual perspective on how to best meet the needs of its local residents and business communities. The shared perspectives are believed to strengthen the voice of the Tri-Valley.
